Our Story
Christopher and Genevieve first met in 2016 at the Carleton Improv Association, and connected over their shared love of Dungeons & Dragons and History.
After reconnecting in 2023 (where Christopher romanced Genevieve by talking about the Grand Antique Fireplaces on Centre Block) they soon entered a whirlwind long-distance romance while Genevieve completed a year travelling through Scotland. Despite the difficulties that 3,000 miles and a five hour time difference brought, their love only grew.
They started their lives properly when Genevieve moved back to Ottawa in October 2024, with the couple becoming engaged in July 2025 and purchasing their home in March 2026.
They look forward to seeing you on October 31st to celebrate their love and commitment to each other, and the life they've built together.
